Adaptive Dance/Musical
At Dance With Joy, we welcome all dancers and understand that sensory needs vary. For our adaptive and inclusive musical classes, we encourage attire that supports comfort, movement, and sensory regulation while maintaining safety and ease of instruction.
Tops

Fitted, tagless t-shirts, compression shirts, or seamless leotards

Soft, breathable, and non-restrictive materials (like cotton or bamboo blends)
Pants

Leggings, bike shorts, or soft dance pants

Compression leggings are welcome if calming pressure is helpful

Avoid stiff materials or tight elastic bands
Footwear

Barefoot, grippy socks, or soft jazz/ballet shoes (as preferred by the dancer)
