Hi! I am Joy. I'm the owner and teacher of Dance With Joy. I studied vocal performance at the University of North Texas and musical theater at the American Musical Dramatic Academy. I have dipped my toes in most performance fields from TV, film, stage, commercial, print, and still continue to audition. I am in both SAG-Aftra and AEA unions. I am now on my 6th year of teaching and expanded to after school programs, Montessori Schools, enrichment classes, Pre-K centers and private schools all over Manhattan. There are few jobs where you get to laugh all day and create imaginative play for children to explore music and dance. I want my students to dance for more than fun or competitions or technique. I want my students to dance because the music inspires them and makes them happy.
